After a successful run in the Dhaka and Chattogram region, ekShop, in collaboration with LightCastle Partners and Bangladesh Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BWCCI), conducted the third and final workshop in Jashore for Meta’s #SheMeansBusiness “Bringing Businesses Online in Bangladesh” program on March 31, 2022.

In this daylong workshop, 19 entrepreneurs took part in this training to gain digital and business financial management skills to strengthen their business resiliency. Through this training, the SMBs learned to leverage Meta’s digital tools for driving their business growth.

In his speech as the chief guest Rezwanul Haque Jami, Head of eCommerce of a2i, said that this is the first set batch of training from the initiative, and it will be more advanced training in the future.

“a2i has already made some amazing tools such as online business platform ekShop and payment gateway system ekPay to facilitate mainly Cottage, Small and Medium businesses. And constantly working to introduce new sets of services,” he added.

“It was an amazing experience to attend the workshop. As an online business owner, I already knew these tools but did not know how important they were for my business. By attending the session today, I got a clear idea about how to use these tools and how those can impact my business”, said one of the participants Priyanka Rani Sarkar.

a2i’s Head of eCommerce Rezwanul Haque Jami graced the session as the chief guest, and Khandaker Imran Hossain coordinated the session. The sessions were conducted by meta-certified trainers from LightCastle’s team – Sadia Afrin Anika, Mustafa Shahir Hamid, and Mrinmoy Sobhan. At the end of the workshop, each participant was presented with certificates.
