After a successful run in the Dhaka region, ekShop collaborated with Lightcastle Partners and Bangladesh Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BWCCI) and conducted the second workshop in the Chattogram region for Meta’s #SheMeansBusiness “Bringing Businesses Online in Bangladesh” program on March 24, 2022. In this daylong workshop, 23 entrepreneurs from 4 different sectors based in Chattogram took part in this training.

Meta’s #SheMeansProgram supports SMBs, primarily women-owned, in Bangladesh to gain digital skills and business financial management skills to strengthen their business resiliency. Through this training, the SMBs learned to leverage Meta’s digital tools for driving their business growth.

The training covered modules on content creation and its best practices, usage of the page insights for online businesses, guidelines to create engaging content for the target audience, and building communities by creating Groups.

The sessions were conducted by meta-certified trainers from LightCastle’s team – Sadia Afrin Anika, Mustafa Shahir Hamid, and Mrinmoy Sobhan. Each participant was presented with certificates—Nahid Sultana Mallick, Joint-Project Director (Joint-Secretary) of A2I, and Md. Shahriar Hasan Jiisun, National Consultant and Head of Strategy of Ek-shop, were present in person at the closing ceremony.
